I think that the best square was the oil pastel on because of the way it turned out. My favorite material to use was the oil pastels because i felt like i could really blend the colors and make it the way it looked. I think the sharpy is the most interesting because it was really hard to do, but when it all came together it started to look really cool. With the sharpy is took some time but when all the important parts were shaded it came together well.
I think that it reflected my personal style because i like to make a focus on a few key points in my works, and i made the value pieces stick out from the background. I think that i was because i liked the way that it all come together and how all the values were expressed. I learned that i can redraw a picture, and i also learned that pictures can be drawn easily when using value. i would probably make the background different and i would rearrange the drawings.

negative space
in the negative space project i saw line, shading, value, space, and texture. For the lines, you can see there the drawing starts and stops. you cans also see all the lines of the painting. for shading, i shaded all the space that was suppose to be shaded i shaded. i also shaded the colors together. for value, i shaded the space that was suppose to be shaded. doing this gave value to the actual stand and lamp. for space, i expressed the separate space for there the background was and where the drawing is. it is noticeable where is drawing is and where it is not. the texture is my favorite part because i put a cool texture in the background. i carved the pattern into the oil pastel.
